This is peak apple season in Minnesota! Most our the apples have now been harvested. Honeycrisp, Haralson, Regent, Jonathan, Cortland, Connell Red Fireside and Fireside are now available pre-picked in our Apple Barn. The pick-your-own season is over, but our coolers are full and we will have plenty of apples available in our Apple Barn through the holiday season. Our activities are in full swing, with hay wagon rides and pony rides from noon to 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Hay bale maze, hay stack, petting farm and John Deere Tractor Trikes are open from 9 am to 7 pm every day.

This weekend is our Honeycrisp Festival! Our fall activities will be in full swing on Saturday and Sunday, with hay wagon rides around the orchard, and pony rides and our John Deere Tractor Trikes for the kids. The Honeycrisp apples are ripe for picking -- you can pick your own in our orchard starting this Saturday! They're also available already-picked in our apple barn, along with some of our other most popular apples: Gala, Macintosh, and Cortland all came in this week. Come on out for some good old-fashioned family fun!

Labor Day Weekend marks the beginning of fall...back to school...and the "season opener" for Aamodt's exclusive Apple Brats! We know some of our long-time customers have been waiting all summer long for this, so we'll be cooking up a storm in the brat stand outside the barn. Come and get 'em while they're hot!

We are now open and our early season apples are starting to come in. Today, we have Zestar, Red Free, Estival and Early Mac in our sales room. Zestar and State Fair are available for pick-your-own in the apple orchard. Check back again soon for updates as we'll be getting more varieties in almost every week from now into September. In other apple orchard news...our petting zoo arrived yesterday -- an adorable baby goat is the star of the show! We look forward to seeing you at the apple orchard soon! Please don't let the road construction on Manning Avenue scare you off. Manning Avenue is still open to our customers and our new driveway will be open by this weekend.
I tried the Apple Brats for the first time last Fall - I've never had anything like it. I highly recommend them and will be back this year for another taste and to stock my freezer!
Aamodt's has the BEST selection of apples out of any apple orchard I've been to in the area! The best part is, every apple they put out is high quality so there's no need to sift through the apple bins looking for the best, because they are all good.
I've been buying Honeycrisp Apples at Cub Foods for the past 10 years - last season I went to Aamodt's Apple Farm for an event and couldn't believe the price difference when buying directly from the orchard....not to mention the excellent quality. I've never had an apple as juicy as the ones from Aamodt's Apple Farm. I can't wait to come back this season!
Every year my mother and my sister and I choose a destination to go apple picking with all the kids just for fun. I just wanted to say how much fun we had at your apple farm and your apples (especially the Honeycrisp) were the best and cleanest I’ve had in years. Thanks for the good time. We don’t need to decide which apple farm to go to next year! We know it will be Aamodt’s again.
